HELP it won't come down |

|
i got one of my planes in a tree about 60 feet up in the top. i've tried to climb the tree three times and can't get up to it. it has been there about a week and it looks as if it is not going to blow down. any ideas on getting it out of the tree.

I've never had problem landing......my problem has been keeping them in the air....they always landed. ONCE... ONE came down on the wheels ...... Just once thou.

Only idea i have is to use 1" PVC pipe with collars to make a really long pole to knock it out of the tree. Or if you can fasion some type of clamping device with a rope to activate the clamp and put it on the pvc pole maybe you can grab it. Other than that mabe a man lift but that would probably cost you more to rent than the plane did.

Because TJ started the thread, and the title being "Help, It won't come down" I was expecting something like, "I got my Viagra and Advil pills mixed up."

The sun cooked thought the rubber bands holding the wing on so the wing came down. then the last rain move the plane about 5 foot down but it is not going to fall now. it is stuck in a fork so i think i'm going to try to climb to it
wish me luck. i'm going to get my kids to run the video camera, so if fall i can put it on the web. lol.
but if it kills me the my poor kids will be able to relive it over and over. that would suck.
i'll let you know............
